Great Bay 5K | Race for a Healthy Est...
Description
The 23rd annual Great Bay 5K | Race for a Healthy Estuary has been reimagined for 2021. Run, walk, or use your wheelchair for the in-person race on the original course on Oct. 30, 2021. Or participate in the virtual 5K on the course of your choosing. The virtual race can be run any time between Oct. 1 - 30, 2021.
Back for the second year is the Great Bay 55K Challenge! Run, walk, use your wheelchair or a treadmill to complete this circuit of Great Bay, New Hampshire’s largest estuary or use the course of your choice. On your way, you’ll reach special milestones, with information about the unique features at each location being sent to you by personalized emails.
The race can be run any time between Oct. 1 - 30, 2021. For the Challenge, be sure to keep track of your miles and log them every day on the Great Bay 55K Leader Board. You’ll be able to see how far along the route you are each day, as well as how you are doing compared to other competitors. Finished your Challenge early? Just keep going! The Leader Board will keep tracking you and show you how much more than the 55K you have gone. Prizes for the first male and female participants to complete any course and for the male and female who go the furthest distance! You can participate as an individual or a team, you will receive a long-sleeved race shirt (5K) or commemorative hat (55K), and everyone will be able to enjoy free beer, cider and oysters!
