The Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests (Forest Society) is co-hosting a trivia night with the Gundalow Company at the Portsmouth Brewery on Wednesday, March 14 from 7 to 9 p.m. Nature of NH Trivia Night will pose trivia questions to attendees on themes, including “In the Woods” and “On the Water,” covering topics from tree and wildlife identification to nautical trivia questions. Join hosts Dave Anderson of the Forest Society and Gretchen Carlson of Gundalow Company to test your knowledge of New Hampshire's natural world. The event is free and open to the public and will be hosted at the Portsmouth Brewery, located at 56 Market Street in downtown Portsmouth. Registration is not required. Compete with others to win prizes by answering questions about mountain peaks, wildlife, lakes, nautical resources, trees/forests, and natural wonders of all sorts. “The trivia night is a great way to break up the week, come out to test your knowledge of New Hampshire’s great resources, meet other like-minded people, and have fun,” states Dave Anderson of the Forest Society. ABOUT THE FOREST SOCIETY The Forest Society is a private, non-profit land trust and forestry organization established in 1901. It currently holds more than 750 conservation easements statewide permanently protecting more than 100,000 acres of New Hampshire’s landscapes.
