Introduction to Textile Weaving Workshop Saturdays, February 1, 8, 15, & 22, 2025, 9 AM-4 PM Join our Strawbery Banke weavers to learn how to prepare a loom and create your own fabric. Strawbery Banke’s weavers will walk you through the basic steps on the Museum’s 4-shaft Harrisville floor looms. Engage your creativity choosing colors and patterns to craft 2 yards of fabric that can later become hand towels, placemats, table runners, totes or pillows. Come ready to practice your manual dexterity, attention to detail and patience. This class will run across four consecutive Saturdays in February from 9 AM to 4 PM each day. This class is not designed for children under 18, but for the young at heart who can still kneel or squat and handle small threads. The class will consist of 6 students and 2 teachers. This class is limited to six participants. Members: $400; Nonmembers: $450.
