About Justin Carloni
Although he has not performed out regularly for several years, Justin Carloni has been hard at work on a variety of projects that have largely yet to see outside the walls of his own home. He is a busy man with much to write and much to sing about but little ability in the way of promotion. So here is a sampling of music that has won him critical praise from local music lovers, poets, and friends in the seacoast of New Hampshire and Maine, and has awarded him nominations for the Seacoast Spotlight awards out of Portsmouth, NH.
Justin has an organic sound with a haunting voice that has been compared to the month of November. His lyrics find comfort in the wilderness but speak to the individual in a confused land. He has produced 5 solo projects and been a part of over 20 projects in his career. He has music on the youtube shorts, "Hosed" by Juston McKinney. And his is the music for the short film, Dark Scribbles written and produced by Michael Venn, that earned critical praise through the Cannes film festival.
About Guy Capecelatro
Guy picked up the guitar when he was 10 years old, allegedly “never getting any better at it” after 20-something years of playing. Growing up in Mamaroneck, New York, high school memories are “driving to the Bronx at lunch time for bags of crappy pot sprayed with hairspray to make it seem more bud-like.” He left that all behind in order to study philosophy at Plymouth State College. Quitting after two years, he traveled around the U.S., hitting 42 of the 50 states. He moved into Portsmouth in 1987, resuming his studies at UNH while enjoying public transportation (though he had a car) as it “provided a lot of fodder for stories because freaky people take the bus,” and graduated with his philosophy degree in 1989.
