November, 1960. Two days before the Presidential election, WWII veteran Joe Sullivan and his younger brother Skip have climbed to the base of a monument on the Waterbury, CT green to await the arrival of Senator Kennedy. Then a young woman joins them, and the night is transformed from a drunken lark to a confrontation with the past that Joe has spent years avoiding.
