No Static, based in Boston, is one of the top Steely Dan tribute bands in the country, known for expertly recreating the complex, bluesy jazz-rock sound of Donald Fagen and Walter Becker. With a focus on intricate musical details, such as “subtle grooves, sophisticated vocal harmonies, iconic solos,” and unpredictable key changes, the band has earned a reputation for precision.

For 20 years, No Static has sold out shows, covering the full range of Steely Dan’s catalog. They attract some of Boston’s best musicians and have worked with Steely Dan’s own Walt Weiskopf (saxophone) and Jon Herington (guitar/music director).
