Tim Reynolds, a two-time Grammy nominee and sonic innovator, is celebrated for his extraordinary guitar virtuosity and ability to improvise across various instruments. With a career spanning over 40 years, he has explored genres from rock and jazz to classical and reggae. Born in Germany and raised in a religious military family, Reynolds began his musical journey on piano and guitar. He gained recognition in the mid-1980s with his electric power trio, TR3, known for its funk-rock fusion, and later collaborated extensively with Dave Matthews. Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, Reynolds solidified his reputation as a master of the acoustic guitar. After reuniting TR3 in 2007, he continued to tour and release acclaimed albums. The pandemic allowed Reynolds to explore new music, including his 2020 digital release Venus Transit and 2021’s Soul Pilgrimage. He remains passionate about performing solo, with TR3, and with the Dave Matthews Band.
