Some might think that living in a retirement home would be somewhat dull and very slow paced, and they may be right in some cases though it’s certainly not the case where Esther resides. For the past 25 years Esther has hung her purple hat at The Goosebury Retirement Village, along with her quiet and aloof husband Harold of course. Since Esther’s arrival to the village she has taken it upon herself to make everything that happens within the walls of The Goosebury her business. This year, The Goosebury Retirement Village has been chosen as the location for The 217th Annual Statewide Bingo Jamboree. Esther, having been snubbed of victory in last year’s jamboree, is looking forward to the sweet taste of redemption...and the jello and cribbage to follow.
