A Christmas Carol is the classic holiday story of the hardened miser, Ebenezer Scrooge. The man who wants for nothing receives the rarest of Christmas gifts when the spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Future take him on an overnight journey to see who he truly is, and who he is to become if he continues on his selfish path. Based on Charles Dickens? 1843 novella of the same name, A Christmas Carol was originally adapted by Players' Ring Founder, Gary Newton over twenty years ago and further adaptation has been done by Christopher Savage to bring even more of the magic of the season to the stage. Portsmouth audiences have been enjoying A Christmas Carol at the Players' Ring for over 20 years.
