You're invited to our opening reception!

Whether you want to party like it’s 1623, the 1970s, or 2023 you’re invited to the Portsmouth Historical Society’s opening reception for its two major exhibitions. Join us as we celebrate the openings of “A Sense of Place,” the companion exhibition to A History of Portsmouth NH in 101 Objects, and “Reinventing Portsmouth,” focused on the renewal and renaissance of our city during the 1970s. Chat with the exhibition curators, visit the exhibitions, and meet the authors of the 101 Objects publication during this evening event.  

Light refreshments and beverages will be provided.

1970s attire encouraged.
