Ghosts on the Banke A family-friendly Halloween and trick-or-treat event Friday, Oct. 28 & Saturday, Oct. 29, 2022, 5:30-8 p.m.
Held in rain or moonlight. About the event: Trick-or-treat safely outdoors from house to historic house with Jack-o'-lanterns lighting the way in Portsmouth's oldest waterfront neighborhood. Meet wayward pirates and a mysterious fortune-teller, listen to ghostly tales, construct a giant spider web, dance to spooky musical tunes, and play games for prizes. Additionally, enjoy frighteningly fun shopping at Pickwick's At the Banke, the Museum store. Ghosts on the Banke is a family-friendly event designed to be spooky, not scary.
Tickets: Members* (ages 1+): $4 or free depending on membership level Nonmembers (ages 1+): $8 Children under: free Parking: Parking in the Strawbery Banke Museum lot, located at 14 Hancock St., is extremely limited. With the expected attendance of this event, it is highly unlikely that members and visitors will find a parking spot in the Museum's lot. Event attendees are encouraged to park at nearby offsite parking options including the Hanover Street Garage (near Market Square) & the Foundry Place Garage (near Sheraton, Residence Inn, Fairfield Inn & Suites).
Cancellation Policy: Ghosts on the Banke occurs in rain or moonlight. Due to the limited capacity of this event, there can be no refunds. Additionally, Strawbery Banke is unable to accommodate requests for purchased tickets to be transferred to a different date.
