Join us on Saturday, November 18 for an evening with authors Maryellen Burke and Peter Randall who will discuss their work, Gosport Remembered: The Last Village At The Isles of Shoals. Hear about their experience researching and selecting firsthand accounts of life at the Isles of Shoals in the 1800s. Historical photos coupled with the writings and letters of visitors who experienced the island, and spent time with the colorful characters who were the year round residents are nothing short of fascinating. Originally published in 1997, Star Island has reprinted the book as a special 20th anniversary commemorative edition. Books will be available for purchase at the event.
