More than a mere condiment, salt on the Seacoast is what we're made of! It's in blood and in our ocean and come winter time, it lines our streets to help us keep our footholds and tires moving forward.

For the street.life! annual awards party presented by Service Credit Union, please join us where salt piles (usually) loom large like the white mountains. That's right -- we'll be celebrating at the home of Granite State Minerals. It's seaside and roadside and right in the midst of Portsmouth's working Port.

street.life! will honor our award winning businesses. You'll see videos leading up to the Aug. 26 event for Best Large Business, Small but MIGHTY Business of the Year, Volunteer of the Year and Collaborator of the Year. One award however, will happen LIVE. Do come for the fabulous food, music and company—as well as to honor the Portsmouth Phoenix Award given to one who has taken a rough situation and turned it on its head!

You'll also hear the musical stylings of Bucket List. This energetic jazz/fusion band based in Kittery, Maine, was founded in 2017 by tenor saxophonist Stefan Vittori with a group of musicians who had studied and played together at the Portsmouth Music and Arts Center (PMAC). Bucket List now performs at venues around the region. Their repertoire ranges from traditional standards to 70’s fusion, to the music of contemporary jazz artists like Kamasi Washington.

And while their musicians have a variety of “day jobs” – in business, education, law and other professions – they are solidly united by a passion for playing jazz, learning, and having fun!
