    Description

Over fifty images of 16 antique houses will be the highlight of this tribute to the architect John Mead  Howells and his 1937 masterwork  The Architectural; Heritage of the Piscataqua. The reprinted silver gelatin black and white photographs from Howells' book are the stars of the exhibit. " This process produces rich black and silver tones, and in some instances, the photograph reflects back into the room. That's the fascination of silver gelatin photographs," says Jeffery Hopper, curator of the exhibition on collaboration with Sandra  Rux and Kimberly Alexander.
