On Tuesday evening, September 26, at the Music Hall Lounge, The Opera Connection will be celebrating its 10-year anniversary.
To mark the occasion, and to show appreciation to all those who have supported The Connection over the years, host Dennis Neil Kleinman will be premiering excerpts from a new opera he is composing about Portsmouth’s most contentious edifice, the McIntyre Building.
He will also take a dive deep into the music, the drama and the history of the operas that will be featured in the Met Live in HD series during the 2023-24 season and the best ways to view them. Complimentary light fare will be available along with a cash bar.
