Join the PSO Brass Quintet for an entertaining and toe-tapping evening of musical theatre and jazz transcriptions for brass. The first set will open with a tribute to Stephen Sondheim and conclude with Leonard Bernstein’s rhythmic and dynamic West Side Story. The second half will feature three early jazz selections by Thomas Wright “Fats” Waller alongside the score to George Gershwin’s groundbreaking opera, Porgy and Bess.
