    Learn the untold stories of navigators, preachers, artists, authors, tavern keepers, and madams who defied stereotypes and shaped Portsmouth. Tour guide Lauren Gianino will take you through Portsmouth for this engaging 75-minute tour. You will pass by many beautiful historic sites and learn some interesting facts about Portsmouth women along the way, such as:

    • How one of Washington's slaves came to live in Portsmouth
    • How Prescott Park came to be
    • How Daniels St. got its name
    • Who is the "grandmother of Portsmouth tourism"
