    The Search Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and making recommendations regarding the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and promotion of various client and DARCI websites (B2B and B2C). This role will work closely with the account management, design, and website development teams to drive strategic insights, using data and analytics, and translating those findings into actionable insights and recommendations for clients and the agency. 

    Reports to Director of Operations. 

    Responsibilities:  

    • Plan, implement and report on ongoing SEO strategies for Clients and Agency:
      • Optimize web copy and landing pages for search engine marketing 
      • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization 
      • Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations 
      • Develop and implement link building strategy 
    • Perform technical website audits for clients
    • Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed websites 
    • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords 
    • Create, update and oversee local SEO audits and platforms, including Google Business Listings for clients 
    • Plan, implement and report on ongoing SEM strategies for Clients and Agency: 
      • Plan search ad copy, execute on campaigns 
      • Utilize data and keyword research to optimize campaigns on an ongoing basis 
      • Work with design on display advertising 
      • Work with video on YouTube advertising 
    • Support Agency with new business development through outbound and inbound marketing initiatives 
    • Provide monthly reports to clients, and explain data and updates 

    Qualifications: 

    • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in Search Marketing with a proven track record of results 
    • Strong writing skills required, with experience writing search-optimized content 
    • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition  
    • Experience working with software and tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, SEMRush, Screaming Frog, Looker Studio (Google Data Studio) 

    Details:

    • Full-time, 36.5 hours per week 
      • Agency hours: 8:30am – 5pm Monday through Thursday, and 8:30am-1pm on Friday

    Salary – $65,000 – $70,000 commensurate with experience
