  • MVSB Continues Support of School Days Series at the Music Hall for 5th Year

PORTSMOUTH—MVSB (Meredith Village Savings Bank) is thrilled to support the 2024-2025 School Days Series Season of The Music Hall in Portsmouth with a $10,000 sponsorship. The Bank has supported The Music Hall for many years and this marks their fifth season sponsoring the School Days Series, which introduces pre-k through middle school students to the joys and benefits of professional theater performance.

“This sponsorship from MVSB helps us welcome around 8,000 students from across the Seacoast region with complimentary tickets, transportation and lunches so they can experience professional productions at the theatre,” said Sara Turner, Corporate and Foundation Relations Manager for The Music Hall. “We are grateful for all the continued community support we have received.”

“It is an honor to play a role in bringing arts education experiences to so many local youth in our community,” said David McMahon, MVSB Branch & Business Development Manager.

The mission of The Music Hall is to present the very best of diverse performing and related arts. The Music Hall is dedicated to the enrichment of the Seacoast community. It acts as the community’s great room, fostering a love of arts, community and big ideas. For nearly 150 years, The Music Hall has been in the heart of Portsmouth and operates out of two venues—an 1878 Victorian-era Historic Theater and the modern and intimate Lounge space. Through innovative community partnerships like this one with MVSB, it subsidizes thousands of tickets each year to make the arts accessible to all.
