PORTSMOUTH— Pro Portsmouth unveiled a new First Night Portsmouth Logo for this year’s celebration. The reveal took place at the Seacoast Community School, located at the Community Campus.

The artwork chosen for First Night 2026 was created by Katelyn Souphakhot, development and marketing director at the Seacoast Community School.

ICE SCULPTURE RETURNS! With the completion of construction work at North Church, Jeff Day and his team return to the Square on the 31st creating a piece of frozen artwork. Event details, including parking and street closures, can be found at https://proportsmouth.org/events/first-night-portsmouth/

In partnership with Blue Dolphin Screenprint & Embroidery, Pro Portsmouth will feature an online, on-demand First Night shop. We Need You! Sponsors, Donors, and Underwriters are also being sought to support the event as well as the annual program of events. The organization needs to raise at least $15.0K in order to fund the ice sculpture, fireworks, and police/safety detail. “Over the years, First Night Portsmouth has become another destination event on the Seacoast,” says Executive Director, Barbara Massar. “We are able to attract and entertain not only our friends and neighbors, but people who travel from all over the country to spend the holidays with us, enjoy the city. But in order to keep the event on the calendar, we need everyone’s support.”

Pro Portsmouth believes that this event is vital to the continued success enjoyed by Portsmouth as a destination for family, friends and neighbors from down the street and around the world.
