  • Over 200 prizes up for bid: Birchtree’s Benefit for Learning Auction on Nov. 15 benefiting local autism programs

Anticipation is building as The Birchtree Center prepares for its fourteenth annual fundraising auction on Saturday, Nov. 15, at 7 p.m. at the Regatta Room at Shipyard Brew Pub in Eliot, Maine. With over 200 prizes up for bid, the auction combines the excitement of shopping with the power of giving. Every purchase helps support the nonprofit’s autism programs on the Seacoast and beyond.

This year’s auction will feature live music by Wellfleet, appetizers, desserts, raffles, and live and silent auctions. Attendees can bid on prizes including craft beers, coastal getaways, dining gift cards, family entertainment, and outdoor adventures such as golf, surfing, and skiing. Guests can also purchase raffle tickets for chances to win any of the 77 raffle prizes available. Additionally, there will be opportunities to participate in fun games to win prizes including cash, gift cards, and lottery tickets.

The local community has shown tremendous support for Birchtree’s students. More than 250 businesses, primarily from New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine, have donated prizes. Birchtree also appreciates the support of the event sponsors, including Service Credit Union, The Kane Company, Kennebunk Savings, Nicole & John Sharpe, Partners Bank, Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, the Regatta Banquet & Conference Center, Rocky's Ace Hardware, and Simmons Heating, Plumbing & Cooling.
